Welcome to this consultation on Moray's draft Children’s Services Plan (2017-2020).

Please note this is a draft document – the design and layout of the final plan will change.
The Children’s Services Plan will reflect how Moray Council and NHS Grampian together with Police Scotland, public authorities, partner providers and Third Sector organisations are committed to getting it right for every child in Moray.

-   All partners strive to make sure our children and young people are Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible and Included.

The plan will be the area’s first joint plan under the  Children and Young People (Scotland)
Act 2014  and your valued feedback will be used to inform the final version.

Feedback from frontline workers, children, young people and their families has helped identify
three key priorities over the next three years, areas where we think we can make a real difference.

These priorities are :

-   Ambitious and confident children – to improve the life chances of children, especially the most vulnerable, by supporting them and their families at the earliest stages.

-   Healthier Children – children get the healthiest start in life and are supported to achieve the best possible mental health and wellbeing and there is equality for vulnerable groups.
-   Safer children – to protect children from the risk of harm, abuse and neglect and promote and support safer environments and communities.
