Are you looking for a career in film marketing?  Or do you need to give your film the best chance of success?
 
 
Course Content 
This practical, how-to course combines case studies, methodologies and insights with advice for your live projects career aspirations, all delivered by experienced experts working in the industry right now.  

You can attend individual 2 day modules, or complete all 10 days (2 days a month) to cover everything you need to take a film to market, and receive the NFTS Certificate qualification in Film Marketing and Distribution.

MODULES: (Each module is 2 days)

1.  The Art of Distribution – 20th & 21st July 2019
How film distribution works, the current industry landscape, key players and how films are released in today’s market

2.  The Power of Publicity – 10th & 11th August 2019
How to use publicity, events and festivals effectively to launch and promote your film

3.  Harnessing the Networks – 21st & 22nd September 2019
How to plan and implement successful social media and grass roots marketing campaigns for your film

4.  The Heart of a Campaign – 2nd & 3rd November 2019
Factors to consider in creating the most powerful elements of any film campaign – the poster and trailer

5.  Genre-Specifics – 14th & 15th December 2019
The challenges and opportunities of releasing and marketing docs, animation, horror, sci-fi and comedy films

Tutor
This course is delivered by industry expert, Deborah Rowland, NFTS Head of Marketing, Distribution, Sales and Exhibition, with lead tutors from the MA course

Fees
£1650 (Full course)
£370 (Two day module)


Once you have been accepted on the course we will invoice you, by email, for the full amount of the fees. We must receive your payment 5 working days before the course at the latest. Your place on the course is not confirmed until we have received full payment from you, or you have received written confirmation that you have been awarded a bursary.
