Distractions whilst driving - 2017

Some people are unclear about what can and can’t be done at the wheel of their car. Applying make-up, shaving and other tasks can lead to a prosecution for driving without due care and attention, sometimes more commonly known as ‘careless driving’. To prove such an offence the prosecution need to show a person’s driving has fallen below the standard expected of a competent driver. At IAM RoadSmart we are keen to hear your views on this.
