Children's clothing - Membership model

ApparelXchange is a social enterprise focused on school-aged children’s clothing, footwear and accessories. Children grow fast and keeping them in quality clothing can be expensive.

We are based in Glasgow and have city centre retail and an online shop where you can buy pre-worn quality school uniform and casual wear.

We are developing a new way of using clothing, which we believe is lower cost and offers you a wide selection, without causing further damage to planet Earth.

This survey is about our Membership. Where you can access clothing for an annual fee, exchanging clothing when your child(ren) grow(s) for larger sizes and when the seasons change, to get clothing suitable for the weather. This new service also allows you to influence how the service grows and becomes more successful.

We would like to understand if you would be interested in this service.

Many thanks for agreeing to complete this short survey, it will take 5-10 minutes.

Question Title

* 8. 1.       The membership service we are proposing means you pay for access to garments, rather than own them. This would work like any other shop with added value. Here are the steps;
-          You would visit our shop, and select what you need
-          Most of the garments are pre-worn with some new
-          You would pay for the garments you take (between £4-10 depending on what it is), which includes £1 deposit returned to you when you bring them back.
-          Your child(ren) wear the garments
-          When you need to exchange you revisit the shop and exchange or larger sizes or different styles as your child grows or the seasons change
-          We update your records, so we know what you have and what deposit you are due.
-          The fee lasts for one year and when this is up, you would renew for the following year
-          There are financial and environmental benefits to this service through exchanging for larger sizes or different styles without additional expense and through this model we reduce the need for over production of clothes.

Question Title

* 9. What garments would you particularly be interested in (please tick as many as are relevant for you);
