This survey is designed to help us gain a better understanding of the research governance issues faced by the health research community.  By research governance we mean regulatory, ethics, policy and local health research requirements.  We are deliberately not asking about the effects of Brexit on research.  We would like to hear about research governance problems that you encountered during the last year in any research involving humans, their tissue samples or data.  You can complete the survey as many times as you like if you have a lot to say.

We intend to use the results to

1) Tailor the services that the MRC Regulatory Support Centre offer to the research community
2) Help organisations involved in research understand the issues that the research community face

The survey questions were informed by several focus groups. The questions follow the life cycle of a research project i.e. planning, applying for approvals, running the research, completing the research.  You can't be identified by the data we collect and your answers will be automatically saved every time you move on to a new page.

Thank you very much for completing this survey, it should take you no more than 10 mins.  We will analyse the data and publish the results in late 2019.
