1. INTRODUCTION

Police Scotland is committed to getting YOUR view on policing issues in YOUR area.
 
Since April 2016 we have asked residents in Edinburgh to complete the YOUR VIEW COUNTS survey that will influence Edinburgh's Local Policing Plan.
 
Public consultation is not used in isolation to determine our priorities, however YOUR VIEW shapes our priorities, which we will work with our community and our partners to deliver, to improve local outcomes.
 
Analysis of the results identified that certain groups within Edinburgh were under represented and this is why we have asked YOU specifically to complete this mini-survey.
 
This survey only includes two questions and should take on average two minutes to complete.
