Abstract Submission

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the MMEG 2018 Annual Meeting at Swansea University on 17th and 18th December 2018.

Abstracts are invited in any area in ecological, applied and industrial microbiology, from microbiome research across a broad suite of environments, hosts and applications including disease. Examples include host–microbe communities and interactions, marine and freshwater microbiology, soil and geomicrobiology, air-, cryo- and extremophile microbiology, climate change, biotechnology, bio-processing and bio-engineering, food microbiology, and other applied and industrial microbial processes, including microbe-mediated biodegradation and bioremediation.

Contributions on any type of microbe are welcome, e.g. bacteria, archaea, fungi, yeasts, viruses and phage, and other eukaryotic/higher order microbes such as parasites and amoebae.

Very early ECMs are encouraged to submit an abstract on their project proposal, hypotheses, approaches and progress to date, to encourage early discussions on proposed and newly developed approaches relevant to their projects.

Your abstract must be no more than 250 words and include the names and affiliations of all authors with the active contributor listed as the first author and an email contact for this author.

Submitters of selected abstracts will be informed of their selection and type of presentation within a week of the deadline for abstract submission.

Deadline: 12th November 2018 at 10am GMT

For any queries relating to your submission, please email: mmeg2018@swansea.ac.uk
