Attitudes and Values
An understanding of the key issues faced by an ageing population.
Basic understanding of the concept of person-centred care.
Understanding of and empathy with Sporting Memories’ aims and values.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of equality, diversity and safeguarding and its practical application.

Work Experience
Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
Solid organisational skills, including multi-tasking and time-management.
Experience of supervising staff in multiple locations.
Experience of multi-agency working.
Experience of working in a relatively unsupervised manner and for being responsible for organising their own workload and schedule.
Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.

Communication
Good interpersonal, general communication and telephone skills. Evidence of communicating with a variety of different groups.
Evidence of exceptional IT skills including MS Office.
Ability to produce written reports and routine communications with minimal assistance.
Ability to work under pressure and to adopt a flexible approach to working from home methods.

Record Keeping
Ability to create monitoring systems from scratch.
Ability to oversee collection of regular monitoring and evaluation records.

Professional Relationships
A strong networker, with experience of developing inter-organisational relationships and partnerships.
Ability to work as part of a team and to initiate, sustain and respond to various people in a range of external professional and community organisations.

Supervising Skills
Ability to supervise and lead staff in facilitating tasks.
