Fife’s Health & Social Care Partnership has a duty to support unpaid carers in various ways.  This duty was strengthened with the introduction of the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 which came into effect in April 2018.

The Act requires that we consider measures to support carers through the publication of strategies and statements, the provision of general information on a universal and free basis, and by offering assessments of carer's needs for support.  In order to do this in an effective way, and to measure the impact of our investments and actions, we are keen to hear from carers about their experience of support.  This is the first such survey and takes less than 5 minutes to complete.  It will form the basis for measuring improvements over the coming years.

We are keen to hear about your experience as a carer.  The results of this will help us to shape our improvement plans and decisions about what support we are able to offer to carers.  All questions are optional.  The results will be anonymous and will only be used to help us improve the support we have made available for unpaid carers in Fife.

Thank you in advance of participating in this short questionnaire.
