Introduction

13% of survey complete.

Technology has brought about a revolution in how we communicate and connect with people and how we access information.  Information and services are available online 24/7 and we can connect with each other anytime, anywhere in the world.  However, when our smartphones are always within reach and switched on, we may find it difficult to “switch off”.  This new pattern has become known as the “always-on” culture.

Our research aims to understand whether personality plays a part in our experience of the “always-on” culture and how it affects our work and life.

We will publish a summary report of the results, including some practical hints and tips, on www.opp.com once data collection is complete.

In order to complete this survey, you should already have established your psychological type, for example, by completing the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and have been through a best-fit (verification) process.

All data collected will be entirely confidential and will be used purely for research purposes.  Storage of the data collected will adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (2016).

This survey has 4 sections:
  • About you
  • Your attitudes to the "always-on" culture and your work
  • Managing your work and home life
  • Your experiences and strategies

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
