The White House Community Centre is a large community centre in Hampton, on The Avenue just next to the park.
Prior to lockdown, the centre was home to a pre-school (now re-open), café (currently closed), a large hall with a stage and a number of rooms of various sizes that were available for hire. Alongside these was an outdoor football/ basketball court that was in urgent need of some work. Finally there was some internal office space.
Due to a number of circumstances, including COVID, the centre is at a crossroads in its development. To help make it a vibrant, attractive resource that is fit for purpose in the future and secure its long-term viability, YMCA St Paul’s Group would like to understand better how the community at large, YOU, would prefer to see it develop.
Completing this survey will help us determine what is practical, feasible, deliverable and best for the community.
