Welcome to My Survey

At the full council meeting in February 2021, the Isle of Wight Council made a decision in its 2021 budget strategy to reduce the library service budget. One proposal is to reduce the number of days in the week that Lord Louis Library is open from six to five.

If this proposal goes ahead, Wednesday is the day that Lord Louis Library will close. The reason that Wednesday has been chosen is that it is the day which attracts fewest visitors to the library.

We are undertaking this consultation to gauge the opinion of our service users of the impact that closing the library on Wednesdays would have on them.

Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.
