Listening to Employees
Welcome to an IABC Foundation research initiative
This is a survey designed to explore how organisations listen to their employees. The aim is to increase and share an understanding of good listening practice.
The survey is being conducted by Dr Kevin Ruck, Mike Pounsford and Howard Krais and is supported by the IABC Foundation. It forms part of the Listening Project presented at IABC World Conference in June 2020. The results of this survey will be communicated to all members and all participants can request a copy of the results.
There are 22 questions and it should take about 10 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous.
Please answer the questions based on your personal experience and knowledge of a specific organisation and the way that it listens to employees. This could be your current organisation, or one that you worked in until recently. If you work in a very small agency, or if you are a freelancer or contractor, then choose a single organisation that you have worked with in the past 12 months and which you know well.
