Let's talk about sex project consultation ~ young people

Recent months have seen unhealthy and intrusive sexual behaviour in the news day after day. The Everyone’s Invited website has seen more than 14000 testimonies of unwanted sexual behaviours happening in schools and colleges across the country, whilst a report in November 2020 estimated that 15% of female students and 3% of male students are sexually harassed or abused while at university (i.e. about 50,000 students being abused every year).

Local arts education company Changing Relations has begun raising funds for a project working with young people (aged 16+) to empower them to address these issues and create positive change through arts-based social action. We would be grateful for your help in understanding how significant these issues are for young people in school, college and university settings in and around County Durham and what you think it might be interesting to be involved with.
