Flax Mill Lantern Journeys

This short questionnaire is to help in the development of an activity plan for the Silverburn Flax Mill project.  The Activity Statement will describe the activities that will take place during and on completion of the Flax Mill project.

In spring/summer 2020 we undertook an online survey to help us understand why people currently visit Silverburn Park and what activities visitors would be interested in participating in as part of the Flax Mill project.

In response to that we developed the Lantern Journeys pilot activity, to celebrate the flax heritage and social history of the Park (as a place that has always supported wellbeing). In lighting up the Park the activity also shines a light on wellbeing and mental health awareness, on ‘Blue Monday’ (18th January).

We are now seeking feedback on the Lantern Journeys pilot activity, to support the next step development of the Activity Plan, the detailed activities.
