Kingston First Social Spaces Feedback 2021

Thank you for giving feedback on our Social Spaces project.

In July 2021, we introduced new planters and seating in Thames Street, Lower Fife Road and Outside Kingston Station. The aim was to create more welcoming, social and accessible areas for people to stop and relax, as well as helping the recovery of our local economy by allowing local cafes and restaurants to extend outdoor seating areas. To do this, we limited access to Thames Street for motor vehicles, except blue badge holders.

These schemes have been in place for just over 6 months and we want to hear your thoughts on how they’re going and whether any changes could be made to make them even better.
