This questionnaire is conducted by Environmental Finance in partnership with The Nature Conservancy. It aims to shed light on the appetite among private financial institutions for investments in natural capital/conservation/natural infrastructure. Your responses will feed into the preparation of a report on private financial institutions’ interest in financing natural capital that will be officially released at the upcoming Natural Capital Investment conference on 25 November.

We define natural capital as the world’s stock of natural assets, which include air, water, soil, forests and all living creatures from which humans derive a wide range of ecosystem services. Investment in natural capital is a sub-set of green finance that looks at investing in protecting, enhancing or restoring degraded natural assets in recognition of their intrinsic value and utility. Other green investments, such as renewable energy, would not fit into this category.

Your responses will be treated as confidential – only the statistical results and anonymous comments will be published.
The questionnaire should not take more than 5 minutes to complete.
