What are the Greater Manchester Sports Awards?
The event recognises the amazing work taking place in community activity and sport across the County. It is in its 19th year and sees the winners from all of the 10 locality awards attend the Greater Manchester event as finalists in their respective category (changing lifestyle, club of the year, young sports achiever of the year, unsung hero, volunteer of the year, school commitment to PE and sport award, workforce advocate and initiative of the year). In addition to this there will now be open nominations for Active Workplace of the Year with the winner being revealed at this year's awards.
The Active Workplaces Award, will award an organisation who is showing outstanding commitment to helping their employees be more active during their working day. The nomination process just requires 200 words on why you think the nominated organisation should be recognised for their commitment to GM Moving.
