Extended until Monday 8 August 2022

This is one of our most important data collection projects we conduct every year. We really can't do anything without hearing the voice of voluntary sector organisations working in the criminal justice system. Help us build the richest picture possible of the voluntary sector in all its breadth and diversity, so we can influence key decision makers on your behalf.
Help us understand how the voluntary sector in criminal justice is doing

This survey aims to get a picture of the current challenges facing voluntary sector organisations and some independent practitioners working with people in contact with the criminal justice system and their families in England and Wales.

We will use results from this survey to publish an in-depth report on how voluntary organisations working in the criminal justice system are doing, and how the needs of service users are being met. It will also inform the range of support Clinks and the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance (NCJAA) provides to its membership and networks and how we work with others including government departments and agencies, funders and donors.

What we will ask you

Please allow 20-25 minutes to complete the survey. You can start the survey and return later using the same link to finish the rest. In some places, you will be directed to other questions based on your previous answers, so the total time to complete the survey can vary slightly.
Please submit one survey response per organisation - your answers will represent your whole organisation. We will ask you about your organisation's work, staffing, volunteers, and your service users. If useful, please have numbers ready from the 2021/2022 financial year.
By completing this survey, you confirm you have given explicit consent for us to collect data about your organisation and any personal data included in your responses. Taking part is completely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time. To withdraw please email info@clinks.org.
Welsh language
If you'd like to complete the survey in the Welsh language, we can organise for an interpreter to conduct the survey with you over the phone. Please contact us at franklin.barrington@clinks.org if you require a Welsh-language interpreter.
