GP Practices in Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Turnford and Cuffley & Goff's Oak areas and East and North Herts Clinical Commissioning Group would like to get your views on extending access through additional opening hours at GP practices in the area. Currently most GP practices are open between 8am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday.  These are referred to as “core contracted  hours”.  Most practices are also open for longer hours on one or two weekdays and some Saturday mornings. These are referred to as “extended hours appointments”.

The new proposal is to offer extended access appointments every weekday evening and at weekends or early mornings depending on local demand from October 2018. These appointments are likely to be offered from a central surgery 'hub' which is different to the surgery that you are registered with.

Everyone registered with a GP practice in Lower Lea Valley is asked to give their opinion on these proposals.

Please give your views on the survey below which will close on Friday 25 May 2018.
