Diversity monitoring
We are committed to treating everyone fairly and meeting our legal responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 and related legislation. One of the ways we do this is by asking people to provide information about their diverse characteristics e.g. ethnicity, disability, gender, sexual orientation, religion and belief. This helps us monitor the impact of our activities on different groups and make changes where necessary.
In this feedback form, we are asking for information about your background to help ensure that our new standards reflect a diverse range of opinion. This information is confidential and giving it to us is optional.
It’s really important that we hear from as diverse an audience as possible in developing our new standards. The standards need to reflect the wide variety of people that SPQ practitioners and specialist community public health nurses (SCPHN) care for, and we therefore need to reflect that diversity in our engagement to ensure that our new standards are suitable to meet everyone's needs. We will use this information to ensure we have heard from a diverse range of voices as we develop the new standards.
