The vision of this survey is to improve our understanding of how local communities of Christians are growing in partnership across different traditions. The information you provide will help Birmingham Churches Together and its member Churches develop its support of building unity in Christian mission.
The survey can be completed by anyone who regularly attends Christian worship in the local Authority areas of Birmingham and Solihull. Early questions focus on details of your church or Churches Together group’s involvement in united mission activities, whilst later questions ask your views on joint activities and unity in general. If you feel unqualified to answer some of the early questions it’s okay to skip them – your views are still important to us.
The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete, though if your church or group is involved in a number of united activities your response may take a little longer.
Some points to help you complete the survey:
The phrase 'worshipping community' will be used throughout the survey as an inclusive term for the many ways our different traditions describe the places we meet for worship: church, fellowship, ministry, parish, meeting, house of prayer, place of worship and so on.
We recognised the word 'mission' has different meanings in each of our traditions. Please enter your responses according to your interpretation of mission.
By continuing with the survey you are agreeing for your data to be used by Birmingham Churches Together for the purposes outlined above.
