The National Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance to support customers to achieve positive outcomes, particularly for those who are most disadvantaged in the labour market. It is a free and impartial service, contracted by ESFA within the Department for Education.
This programme is for adults and is delivered through a multi-channel approach (face to face, telephone, digital) interacting closely with a national contact centre and the NCS website. The new contract for the face to face channel will begin in October 2018 and continue until 2021. PeoplePlus is currently looking for partners to deliver this face to face element of the service.
