Sexual violence and rape can have a significant and long-lasting impact on those who experience it.

Being able to access the right support at a time which is right for you can be important to help you cope with your experience.

In Cambridgeshire the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (called The Elms) is based in Huntingdon and provides a single place where you can seek help.

You can also get emotional and practical support from staff (in particular Independent Sexual Violence Advocates) and volunteers based in Cambridge or Peterborough Rape Crisis – collectively called the Cambridge and Peterborough Rape Crisis Partnership.

It is important that the agencies who jointly fund these local specialist services know what people think of them.

This means when the services are re-commissioned and developed for the future they can even more closely meet the needs of the people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who use them.

This survey is being run by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC).    All responses will be kept completely confidential and all data collected will be stored securely for the duration of this project and then destroyed, in accordance with General Data Protection policy requirements. We may use anonymised quotations from responses in our report.

This takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

If you want to talk to someone about any issues raised in the survey you can find contact details at the end.
