The Kickstart Scheme enables your business to offer one or more 6 month placements to young people who are currently at risk of long-term unemployment due to Covid-19, get the experience they need to start their career.

The government will fully fund the position.

• replace existing or planned vacancies
• cause existing apprentices, employees or contractors to lose or reduce their employment

• paid at least the National Minimum Wage for the participant's age group
• does not require participants to undertake extensive training before they begin the job placement
