Young Peoples Survey (13+ Years)

Have your say on the Kerry County Council Play and Leisure Policy!

This is your chance to tell Kerry County Council about your play and leisure experiences in Co. Kerry.  We are asking young people aged 13 or more to complete this survey to help us plan to better meet your needs.  If you are aged 12 or under, we are also providing a drawing task so that you can give us your ideas.

When we talk about ‘play and leisure’ we mean the things that young people like to do for fun and enjoyment.  This could be playing games (either alone or with others), going to a Youth Club, playing sports, making things or just hanging around with friends.

Kerry County Council are working with Playboard NI (https://www.playboard.org/) to develop the Kerry County Council Play and Leisure Policy.

In this survey, Kerry County Council are interested in your play and leisure pursuits in free, usable, public, outdoor areas across the County.  By completing this survey, you will help Kerry County Council to develop a suitable play and leisure policy for young people aged 13-18 years.

There are no right or wrong answers. What you tell us in this survey will be sent to Kerry County Council in a report (don't worry, you can't be identified!) to help them understand what matters most to you when it comes to play and recreation.  Please try to complete as many questions as you can to make sure your views are heard.

The survey should take around 8 minutes to complete.

Please be aware that in order to process your response, it is necessary for Kerry County Council and Playboard NI to collect personal data from you (i.e. the Municipal District in Co. Kerry in which you live, your age range). Such information will be processed in accordance with the Local Authority's Community and Tourism Department Privacy Statement which is available to view on the Council's website and Playboard NI Privacy Statement which is available to view on Playboard NI’s website.  Playboard NI are a Data Processor for Kerry County Council. They are using a tool called SurveyMonkey to process this data online. Their privacy statement is available from the SurveyMonkey website.
