This survey is the second part of a two-part series of research into The Digital Store within multichannel retail, in partnership with Microsoft. Having considered the 'foundations for growth' in the first round of research where we looked at the operational underpinnings of the digital store, we now move through the store and look at the impact we can have on and with the customer.

In this survey we aim to focus on how our back-end capabilities can allow us to be personal, how we can deliver relevant promotion that's commercially effective, and finally how we can create an experience out of the technology, people and process capabilities - and we'd like to hear your thoughts.
