Childrens Survey

This survey is for the whole class to inform your school’s play policy. It is about children’s experience of play at lunchtime and breaktimes at school. If the children can respond to this individually, please use the SurveyMonkey link provided to your school.

As class teacher you can choose how to get the clearest and least biassed set of answers – raised hands, thumbs up/down, moving to either side of the room. Please write in the table below the total number of responses. Make any notes at the bottom or after the question. You could extend this activity by asking the children to draw, write about or make models of what their dream playgrounds would contain. It’s unlikely your school will end up with a water park – but water slides are possible!
