"Doing the Kintyre Way the Kintyre way - Community & User Survey"

THIS SURVEY OFFICIALLY 'CLOSED' ON 11 NOV 2023.  IF HOWEVER YOU WOULD STILL LIKE TO PARTICIPATE PLEASE DO SO - YOUR INPUT IS VERY WELCOME.  PLEASE NOTE THE PRIZE DRAW WAS DRAWN AT OUR AGM.

The Kintyre Way has a new spring in its step after being awarded major grant funding from the Fern Cour Community Windfarm Trust. A total of more than £10,000 will be used to help the team plan a vibrant future for the popular long-distance walking route that meanders 100 miles from Tarbert to Southend.

This planning work is being carried out by SCOTO - the Scottish Community Tourism Network - www.scoto.co.uk

The expectation is the route will play a much bigger role within the local communities it connects.

The purpose of this survey is to gather views from anyone with an interest in the route - people living in Kintyre Peninsula, local businesses, users of the Kintyre Way from further afield and agencies.  The information will inform a programme of community workshops taking place later in the Autumn and also feed into the analysis and final recommendations.
