Have you used of clary sage essential (Saliva sclarea) during childbirth?

Aromatherapy for Childbirth study days include the use of clary sage essential oil to help facilitate normalised birth. We now have a great resource of information in midwives, doulas and birth workers who have trained and witnessed the use of essential oils, also increasing numbers of  women who have given birth utilising the help of clary sage. There is very little information gathered on the effectiveness of essential oils during labour. We would love to tap into this pool of knowledge to help fine tune and develop the effectiveness of clary sage. Please share your important experience and knowledge if you have used clary sage or seen it used during labour. You don't need to be an expert! Thank you.
