Introduction

In September 2015, all governments committed to the 2030 Agenda for Development which includes the sustainable development goals (SDGs) - a new, universal set of goals, targets and indicators that came into force on 1st January 2016. These replace the Millennium Development Goals. The body which will oversee implementation of the SDGs is called the High Level Political Forum.

The Stakeholder Group on Ageing will be submitting a report to the United Nations High-level Political Forum in July 2016, on stakeholder involvement in ageing issues in the follow-up and review of the Sustainable Development Goals.

This is a short questionnaire to solicit information from national members and affiliates on their awareness of the 2030 Agenda for Development. The survey consists of ten questions and should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete.

Comments boxes are provided and we encourage you to answer as fully as possible as the responses will also inform how the Stakeholder Group on Ageing works in the future, to ensure we can connect to, support and amplify the voices of organisations working at the national level and older people themselves.

Responses should be submitted by Friday, 8 April 2016.
