* 4. Objective and action area number 2 (pages 15-17) advocates diversifying Streatham’s economy, by balancing retail with other activities such as food and drink, leisure and workspace.

This action area includes a recommendation to amend a) the Town Centre boundary to make it fit for purpose; and b) the boundaries of the two Primary Shopping Areas (Streatham Hill and Streatham Central) to promote a balanced town centre economy to enable this. Please see the map of the proposed boundary changes.
