Hartlepool Action Lab 2017 Launch Event: Hartlepool's £1,000,000 Challenge Monday 27 November, 15:30-17:00, Hartlepool College of Further Education
Join us to find out about the outcomes of the 2017 Hartlepool Action Lab, where 30 people and organisations from Hartlepool and beyond came together to design solutions to the cost of living.
Our goals:
We will save £500,000 across 1,000 homes in Hartlepool by reducing energy costs by December 1st 2018.
We will reduce the annual shopping bill by £200 per year for 150 households in 3 targeted neighbourhoods by 1st January 2019.
We will ensure that 100% of residents in a targeted neighbourhood in Hartlepool will maximise their income through accurate claims of the benefits they are entitled to by 31 December 2018.
To deliver, we will need the support and expertise of the Hartlepool community. We hope the event will be the start of a conversation about how you can get involved.
The event is free of charge and open to anyone or any organisation. Light refreshments will be provided. A limited number of parking spaces will be available on-site, with alternatives provided at Hartlepool Middleton Grange Shopping Centre and Hartlepool Train Station.
