Salisbury Green Business Questionnaire
Find out how your business scores on climate impact!
Once you have completed the questionnaire your answers will be reviewed and you will receive a handy toolkit containing information in an easy-to-digest format about how to make your business more environmentally friendly along with your score. The Green Business Awards is an easy and free scheme designed to encourage and inform your business about simple ways to reduce your environmental impact, helping you to make sustainable changes that support local climate targets of halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, whilst getting on track with the Government strategy to reach net zero by 2050!
The questions could take up to 30 minutes to complete (depending on your answers), so grab yourself a brew and pull up a chair! This survey should be completed by someone who has good knowledge of the business processes and has the authority to make decisions. Once you have started the questionnaire you won’t be able to save your progress and pick up where you left off. Therefore, we advise filling out this Word or PDF version first and copying your answers into the online version.
We will aim to score your questionnaire and get back to you as soon as possible with information on the areas you are doing well and where you can improve.
You can score up to a total of 24 points depending on your answers. There are 5 sections to this questionnaire, plus an extra set of questions at the end of the survey which is specific to your sector. Sections include; - Energy - Transport - Banking, Investment & Procurement - Organisation - Products & Waste
If you score enough to achieve an award, you will be asked to provide some evidence to support your answers.
Want to improve your score? If you fall short of achieving the award, you will be encouraged to make some changes with the help of the toolkit. You will then have the opportunity to resubmit the questionnaire to see how your score has improved. If your business scores high enough, it could get an environmentally friendly award to display with pride in your office, shop window or website! Your business will also benefit from local social media endorsement.
