NNPCF London Region: Lockdown 2021 SEND Provision Survey for Families living in The Royal Borough of Greenwich

I hope you and your family are keeping well and safe

We would be really grateful if you could take some time to complete this survey so that we can better understand how you are coping during such unprecedented and difficult times.

This survey is for parent carers with children and young people aged 0-25 with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, living or attending school in the London Borough of Royal Greenwich to find out what services and support are currently available to you and your family and what extra support you need but do not have.

All information collected in this survey is annonymous.

You can fill this survey out more than once if you care for more than one child with additional needs.

The summary information will be used to let the Local Authority know what is and isn't currently working for families of children and young people with SEND, and may also be shared with other Parent Carer Forums across London to inform the advice given to Central Government and the Department for Education about how best to support our children and young people.

They don’t have the ability to concentrate and learn at home without significant support

The online work set by the school doesn’t meet their needs or no online work has been set for them

* 9. We want to know the impact of lockdown on short breaks/respite care. Have you still been able to access the Short breaks/respite care which you are normally entitled to during the last year (since the first lockdown began)?

Yes ,we have been able to get short breaks/respite care support in the same way as pre-lockdown

We have been allowed to have some flexibility in use of direct payments /personal budgets e.g. buy items to support my child instead
