Introduction to our research study
Thank you for choosing to participate in our study.
This survey intends to capture your opinion on the increasing metricisation of higher education and its impact on your professional practice. The study may be of value in providing a space for you to share your opinions and/or concerns regarding the merits/demerits of metrics such as the Research Excellence Framework (REF) and the National Student Survey (NSS). More broadly the outcomes of the study will be valuable for stakeholders such as, senior managers and other academics in understanding academics perspectives on the institutional interpretation of the metrics in higher education and its impact on their professional practice.
