Autism and learning disability training

Oliver McGowan was only 18 when he died in hospital on the 11th November 2016. We believe his death was avoidable if the doctors and nurses had received mandatory training about autism and learning disabilities. The Government has announced that all NHS staff will receive training about autism and learning disabilities. Please can you answer these questions and help shape the training. This is NOT the government consultation. This was written by Oliver’s mum Paula and Steve Hardy. Thank you.
