The NLHF Business Support Programme has been developed by Museums Galleries Scotland, Built Environment Forum Scotland, and greenspace scotland to support heritage organisations in Scotland to develop sustainable business models.

The programme will deliver a comprehensive resilience and leadership training programme for approximately 40 heritage organisations in Scotland. The training will be tailored to the needs of participants, focusing on leadership, governance, business planning and local community engagement.

The programme delivery will commence in early 2021 and run for 18 months with the expectation that participating organisations participate in between 20 and 30 days training within that time period. Eligible organisations will be awarded a community grant to enable them to fully participate in the skills programme. It is expected that training will be delivered using a variety of methods such as small cohorts, directly at organisation’s locations and digitally.

This Expression of Interest  is designed to give a brief overview of the programme and capture interest at an early stage from heritage organisations. Full details of the programme will be announced later in 2020 accompanied by a range of information sessions.
