The Lantern Initiative is a Muslim-run grassroots social enterprise based in Peterborough.

Our objectives are to educate and raise awareness of mental health issues in the Muslim community, to help break down the associated stigma, and to empower communities in seeking and accessing relevant support with their mental health and wellbeing.
We're expanding and want to ensure the community, whether currently engaging with us or not, are involved in the development of our organisation.

The main aims of this survey are:
  • To understand what the needs of the Muslim community are around mental health
  • To understand if the wellbeing needs of the Muslim community are being met/if they are being supported in the way they need to be.
  • To inform future services we provide
  • To produce a research report for other organisations working in this space to use as a resource
This survey has 23 questions and will take around 7 minutes to complete. Your answers will be anonymous.

This survey was produced with the support of the Steps to Recovery programme, delivered by Civil Society Consulting Community Interest Company.
