HIGH QUALITY BUSINESS ACCOMMODATION AT ANCOATS DISPENSARY
The Ancoats Dispensary Trust has been working hard to secure the future of the Ancoats Dispensary building and bring it back into use as a multi-purpose business accommodation, and health & wellbeing facility. The facilities and activities at the refurbished three storey building could include:
Second floor
• High quality office accommodation for a range of businesses and organisations, with a focus on service businesses including: digital and technology; marketing and communications; and training & education; as well as those working in the health and wellbeing sector.
• Open areas and break out spaces, for flexible use by business tenants.
First floor
• Offices and treatment spaces for use by health and wellbeing specialists (e.g. nutritionists; physical exercise specialists; physiotherapy; acupuncture).
• NHS medical practice providing access to GP and community health services.
Ground floor
• An on-site community café run by Real Junk Food Manchester, a social enterprise specialising in healthy, nutritious catering.
• A large, open events space, plus two meeting rooms, available for use by business tenants, as well as for social, community, and health & wellbeing events.
The building will have ‘stripped back’ design, protecting and enhancing the historic features of the building, while maintaining a clear distinction between old and new.
It will have an energetic and welcoming feel, a place where people will come together to work, meet and socialise, in a building designed with health & wellbeing at its core.
We’d really like to hear your views about how attractive the new facilities at Ancoats Dispensary would be to your business / organisation. This will help us make sure the Dispensary meets business needs, and it will help us in our bid for Heritage Lottery Funding to regenerate the building.
