Cold Calling Control Zones 2017 |
Several years ago colleagues in North Wales Police and members of the community set up a number of Cold Calling Control Zones in Denbighshire. The zones were supported by Denbighshire County Councils Trading Standards Service.
They were designed to protect vulnerable residents and to help businesses avoid areas where cold calling was not welcome. We need to understand whether the existing zones are still benefitting local residents and to consider whether we need to make any changes. In order to do this we are asking for your help to evaluate them. The evaluation period will run from Monday 30th January to Friday 17th February 2017.
We will consider all of the responses we receive and publicise the results and our plans for the future of Cold Calling Control Zones in Denbighshire before the end of April 2017.
Thank you for your interest. I look forward to hearing your views
