Nominations

We will be recognising achievements over a range of commercial fishing categories. Each category will result in an award presented at the Fishing News Awards ceremony in Aberdeen on May 24th 2018. You can enter on behalf of a friend, colleague or organisation. Self-nomination is also allowed. Each category has strict criteria, and you will be asked to back up your nomination when casting your vote.  We will also require contact information for the person or organisation you nominate.

All nominations must be received by midnight on Tuesday, 13th February, 2018, and the shortlist will be confirmed shortly afterwards, when voting opens.

Voting will then open to determine the winners of 9 of our categories. The remaining four categories – Port of the Year,  Young Fisherman of the Year, the Sustainability Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award – will be judged by Fishing News Awards panels comprised of industry peers, authorities and advisors, selected for their expert, objective and independent views.

If you wish to nominate in one category only, please fill in section one, 'About You', and then skip to your preferred category.

Please do not nominate the same person in the same category multiple times. Duplicate nominations will be excluded.

Once you have nominated in your chosen categories press the 'DONE' button to submit them to us.

If you have any issues with the form please email shows@kelsey.co.uk
