Raybel consultation and activity survey

The Raybel is an historic Thames sailing barge launched from Milton Creek, Kent in 1920.  It has had a long career taking cargo up the Thames and across the Channel and providing leisure charters and arts activities. You can find out more about the Raybel and its fascinating story at http://raybelcharters.com/

Raybel now needs restoration so that it can once again deliver cargo under sail using the unlimited energy of the wind as well as providing a resource for education, training and leisure.

A successful first stage application to the Heritage Lottery Fund has provided initial funding to develop plans to bring Raybel back to Milton Creek for restoration and to offer a programme of activities and events which enable more people to visit and enjoy the barge and learn about its heritage.

Oakmere Solutions Ltd has been commissioned to develop an Activity Plan to support the second stage application to the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Activity Pan will specify the range of activities, events, and services which, alongside new exhibitions, will help tell Raybel's story and encourage more, and a wider range of, people to visit and engage with the barge.  To ensure the Plan is comprehensive and relevant,  we are keen to hear the views of local people and organisations. We have developed some initial ideas and we now need to find out what you think about them.

It would be very helpful if you could complete the following short questionnaire to provide your feedback and contribute your ideas. The questionnaire should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. The outcomes of the questionnaire will be used to inform future plans. All responses will be anonymised and will not be attributed to individuals.

Thank you for your support.
