Kettins Community Hub Use

Kettins Community Hub has been created to provide facilities to support all members of our community. The Hub has been open for a year and events and activities are being established, we wanted to take the chance to find out what additional activities you would like to be available in the hub and park. The Hub is run and managed by volunteers from our community. There is a map of the hub area available which may help you to visualise some of your ideas.

The playing field and area around the hub building gives us a wonderful opportunity to develop some ideas.  What sort of ideas do you have? And can you help to make them happen? A map of the area is available on the Kettins website.

The school garden is located next to the play park. Are you able to help maintain this area?

We have a great chance to develop the existing activities that happen in the area but what new ideas do you have? One of the limitations on providing more events are the volunteers’ time- so if you have an idea, would you be willing to organise it?

We are always looking for more! Please let us know if you are able to offer some time to help out. We are also looking at offering more training for volunteers, so if there is something that we can help you with, that would be great too.

Can you help with: Making teas and coffees, events where there is some catering/serving required, car parking, site maintenance, social media posts, posters and flyers for events, promotions and news items/newsletter, event organising.
