2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the Representation of the People Act which gave the franchise to all men over the age of 18 and some women who had property over the age of 30. 1928 saw the extension of universal suffrage. In preparation for the up and coming centenary, the Department for Education would like to survey schools in order to ensure that the support they provide to schools is well targeted. As such the Historical Association has been asked to send out this survey to history teachers on behalf of the DfE.
