We are now inviting comments and ideas on how to improve the barn and for community use and, to ensure its a sustainable future. Please complete this brief survey.
The Tithe Barn Trust is a small not-for profit, volunteer group, but with big ambitions:
Our vision –  ‘Working for a vibrant, diverse and sustainable future of the Tithe Barn and its surroundings to safeguard their unique heritage features for the benefit and enjoyment of local people.’
This also includes enhancing access to the Barn in order to educate visitors and users about its history and heritage.

We have identified phases to enhance the ancient original structure of the barn:
Phase 1  – essential fabric repair – preventing further deterioration - initial essential restoration of the thatched roof, sub-structure, walls and flooring
Phase 2a – further fabric repair
Phase 2b – enhancements of the barn - creating an improved community building equipped with basic facilities for local people and those from further afield.
As a Grade II Listed Building, and for example there are constraints such as thaton what we can do – e.g. we cannotnot allow smoking nor naked flames and; three sides of the barn are owned by the neighbour limiting access and use.

Please complete and return this questionnaire by 19 September 2016 at the latest.
