Following the results of the UK's referendum on its continuing membership of the EU, it is important for the BVCA to understand the regulatory permissions of its members. With this information, the BVCA can advise the Government and the FCA clearly as to how changes to financial services regulation following the UK's departure from the EU will affect its members.

This information will also help the BVCA to understand which of its members may be affected by proposed or forthcoming legislation and regulation. Once firms complete this survey, the BVCA will be able to identify which firms it should approach when looking at specific aspects of regulatory change.  It will also allow the BVCA to highlight to policymakers and regulators how many of its members are affected by particular pieces of legislation and regulation.

The first set of questions focus on the how your UK firms are regulated by the FCA.  There will be an opportunity later in the survey to comment on how you are regulated outside of the UK (where applicable).

All responses will be reviewed by BVCA employees only and will be kept in strict confidence by the BVCA.

The survey should take no more than 5 to 10 minutes to complete and we thank you for your support on this initiative.
