TSSA is the only recognised Trade Union for P&T grade staff (TO, STO and PTO).
Our union has a collective agreement that West Coast South P&T staff should all be on an agreed contract, known as "IMC 24" with collectively negotiated pay and conditions, including spot rated salaries, consistent overtime enhancements and other "Red Book" terms and conditions. Despite this, many staff have been appointed on a Network Rail Role Clarity Contract or an alternative contact know as "IMC 23" (indicated by a footnote "NR-HRSS-REC-IMC-00023" at the bottom of the contract)

Our union is negotiating with Network Rail to agree a process for transferring West Coast South  P&T staff to the IMC 24 contract. If agreed, current proposals would automatically move IMC 23 staff to the correct IMC 24 contract. P&T Staff on a Role Clarity contract would be given a one-off option to transfer to the IMC 24 terms or stay on Role Clarity on an individual basis.
