Diversity Survey

The Isthmian League are carrying out a league-wide diversity survey as part of our ongoing equality work. To provide us with deeper understanding of the demographic we represent we would ask that everyone directly involved with your club completes this survey; however participation is optional and you are not obliged to declare all of your characteristics.  Participation does however provides us with a clear picture of the makeup of those involved with this league, which in turn enables us to identify any areas that may need stronger representation.

The information we receive is used for monitoring and statistical purposes only.

Equality and diversity monitoring is the process of gathering and analysing data on peoples characteristics.
Diversity monitoring allows the League to understand the makeup of its directors, staff, volunteers and clubs accessing its programmes and services, and to meet the needs of individuals and groups if adjustments and adaptations need to be made.
Please note that this form, whether completed online or on paper, is anonymous and untraceable to any individual.

Thank you for your help with this survey.

Under the Equality Act 2010, disability is defined as a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long term adverse effect on the ability to carry out normal day to day activities.  Substantial means more than minor or trivial.  Impairment covers, for example, long term medical conditions such as asthma and diabetes, and fluctuating or progressive conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or motor neurone diseases.  A mental impairment includes mental health conditions (such as bipolar didorder or depression), learning difficulties (such as dyslexia) and learning disabilities (such as autism and Down's syndrome).  Some people including those with cancer, multiple sclerosis and HIV/AIDS are automatically protected as disabled people by the Act.
