Bursary application for artists and producers of ethnic minorities to attend IETM Plenary Meeting in Rijeka, 24- 27 October 2019 |
As part of the British Council's mission to represent the UK in all its diversity, the Theatre & Dance department is offering bursaries for artists and producers of ethnic minorities to attend IETM Plenary Meeting in Rijeka, an important international performing arts networking event, in October 2019.
The IETM bursary will provide the opportunity to take part in all the associated IETM activities with a view to sharing gained experience and knowledge upon return to the UK.
Where and when?
IETM plenary meeting takes place in Rijeka, Croatia from 24–27 October 2019
What does the bursary cover?
Successful applicants will receive a £500 bursary each. The bursary money can be used to contribute towards costs incurred travelling and staying in Munich. This might include, but is not limited to travel, accommodation, daily expenses and show tickets.
Who is eligible to apply?
This opportunity is open to independent artists and producers from minority ethnics working in performing arts who are based in the UK and are not acting on behalf of an NPO or a regular funded organisation. Recipients of one previous IETM bursary are eligible to re-apply. Our policy is that we will support one person to attend IETM a maximum of two times through this scheme. You must be available from the 24–27 October 2019 (inclusive) and allow for appropriate travel time on either side of the dates.
